RMA’s NEW
Credit Risk Certification

What a difference certification can make, especially when it represents RMA’s stamp of approval.

Who:
Banking professionals with at least three years of credit risk experience—lenders, credit officers, credit analysts, credit administrators—can now demonstrate their proficiency on a computer-based examination and earn their Credit Risk Certification.

What:
To develop and validate this 125-question examination, RMA has worked with a committee of industry experts from a wide cross-section of banks—large and small, U.S. and Canadian, rural and urban.

When:
RMA launched the new certification with a 200-person pilot test in fall 2004. The certification test will then be offered regularly each spring and fall.

Where:
The four-hour, computer-based examination will be available at a test site near you.

Why:
Credit risk professionals can now gain the recognition they deserve and add a valuable industry credential to their resume. Plus, employers can hire job candidates they know have the requisite skills and knowledge to succeed.

Note: To ensure you stay current in the credit risk field, RMA requires you to complete 60 continuing education credits every three years.
